What Is Bournemouth Boarding?

Bournemouth Boarding was originally created by Ryan Harris in the winter of 2007 after getting back into kitesurfing after a gap of 3 years. There was little information on aspects covering locations to other kitesurfers, so a change was needed!

Bournemouth BoardingAfter getting a superb team team together who all put in a lot of time, Bournemouth Boarding has exceeded far beyond a small site originally designed for 'a few friends'. The site itself has attracted companies from Animal Clothing outlets to Fat Face, but at present has yet to get involved untill the team was 100% satisfied it could offer all members whats needed.

Bournemouth Boarding is prodominently a Kitesurfing community club, but also coverrs landboarding with staff members including Steve Smith whos sponsored by Trampa Boards.

Bournemouth Boarding as a club has been officially recognised by the British Kite Surf Association since 2008 and is still going strong. 2009 was a fairly quiet year but we are pushing the name out for summer 2010 and have already kicked off with a superb trip to Westward Ho! over easter !!

British Kite Surfing Association

Bournemouth Boarding is  a BKSA (British Kite Surfing Association) recognised club. Therefore any kiteboarder that flies with us we would ask to be insured via the BKSA. For more information, please see our BKSA Page.
